How Does the Print-2-Image Driver Work?
Print-2-Image makes converting documents to TIFF, PDF, JPG, GIF, Bitmap, PCX, and DCX simple. Print-2-Image installs and functions as a printer, and is found in the Windows Printers and Faxes folder with all other printers. Converting documents to image files is as easy as printing. The Print-2-Image Printer Driver works with any Windows program.
Convert to TIFF, PDF, JPG, GIF, Bitmap, PCX, and DCX
Creating image files is as simple as printing a document to a normal printer.
- Open the document or file you wish to convert.
- Print your document, but instead of choosing your standard printer, select the Print-2-Image printer.
- In the Save As dialog box, choose a location to save your new image file.
- Enter a file name and click Save.
It's that easy!
If you can print it, Print-2-Image can convert to TIFF, PDF, JPG, GIF, and Bitmap.

The Print-2-Image Printer Driver includes an OCX Module that allows you to create TIFF, PDF, JPG, GIF, Bitmap, PCX, and DCX image files from any Windows-based progra, including "homegrown" applications. Using the Print-2-Image OCX Module, you can incorporated the Print-2-Image Printer Driver right into your program(s) using your development tools - Visual Basic, C++, .NET, PowerBuilder, etc. All versions of Print-2-Image include the OCX module for application integration requirements and programmatic customizations.
