Architecture

The Imecom Virtual DM Fax Server utilizes the Dialogic Brooktrout SR140 virtual-mode fax board software and therefore can be implemented in a virtual server environment. The SR140 software replaces the traditional PCI-based fax card with virtual fax board software. Fax traffic is routed over IP to an T.38 compatible IP-PBX or VoIP gateway - for free. The SR140 software is compatible with many leading IP telephony and VoIP equipment vendors, including Cisco, Avaya, Nortel, Siemens, 3com, AudioCodes, and Dialogic. Client-Side Virtualization

The Virtual DM Fax Server can be implemented in Terminal Server and Citrix environments for speedy deployment. End users can send and receive faxes from their thin client or virtualized clients just as easy as if they had a physical PC.
