The DM Fax Archives Module provides automatic archival and storage of all faxes sent and received via the Imecom DM Fax Server. Faxes are archived in a centralized document repository where they may then be retrieved, annotated, forwarded to any e-mail or fax user, printed, re-transmitted, or automatically purged for long-term storage.
The DM Archives Module is actually a two-tier relational database system that features client/server architecture. Faxes sent and received via the Imecom DM Fax Server are stored in a location with links to each fax image created in the database. Information passed during call setup is also passed to the DM Archives database.
The DM Archives Module client can be installed onto any workstation or remote PC. The DM Archive Client enables users to perform search and retrieval functions whereby individual or groups of fax images can be retrieved for further processing. Main search criteria includes sender name, fax number, recipient name, and recipient fax number.
The DM Archives Module offers save and purge features for long-term storage of electronic documents. You will full control over save and purge options, including purging by number of faxes and by date of fax transmission/reception. You can also set automatic dates and times for purge execution. There is also an option for purge and delete should you wish to permanently delete archived faxes after a certain length of time.
