Inbound Fax Routing To Folders

Automatically route inbound faxes to one or multiple UNC folders in TIFF or PDF format.

One-to-One or One-to-Many (LDAP)

The DM File Connector may be configured to interact with a single folder per connector or as a main connector serving multiple destination folders. In one-to-many scenarios, LDAP queries to a database or spreadsheet may be sued to determine correct destination folder based on routing criteria.

Generate XML or ASCII Control File

For each inbound fax job, the DM File Connector can generate an XML or ASCII-based control file that contains information abound the received fax, including full path to destination folder, date and time files are written to the directory, name of file(s), and more. Control files can be useful if faxes are being routed to a third-party workflow or content management system.

Split Multi-Page Faxes

The DM File Connector is capable of splitting multi-page fax image files into individual single page TIFF files before the files are written to the destination directory. By splitting faxes into single page TIFF files, third-party applications can easily import and process received faxes on a per-page basis.
