Fax Archival

The DM Fax Archives Module™ provides automatic archival and storage of all faxes sent and received via the Imecom DM Fax Server. Faxes are archived in a centralized document repository and available for quick search and retrieval, routing, retransmission, and transition to long-term storage systems.

Two-Tier Architecture

The DM Archives Module is a two-tier relational database system with options for short-term and long-term archival. Faxes sent and received via the Imecom DM Fax Server are stored in a location with links to each fax image created in the database. Information passed during call setup is written to the DM Archives database and available for custom search and retrieval.

Search and Retrieve Archived Faxes

A DM Archives Client enables users and system administrators to perform custom search and retrieval within the archives database. Individual faxes or groups of faxes can be retrieved for viewing and further processing. Examples of search criteria include SENDE NAME, FAX NUMBER, RECIPIENT NAME, and RECIPIENT FAX NUMBER.

Long-Term Storage Settings

The DM Archives Module offers save and purge features for long-term storage of electronic faxes. Purging options include purge by number fo faxes, purgee by date of fax transmission/reception, and scheduled purge by date/time. Archived faxes can also be permanently delete after a certain length of time.
