How Do I Send a Fax?

There are several ways to send a fax via Use it Fax Service.

Faxing through Email

Use it Fax Service allows you to send electronic faxes from any traditional email client like Microsoft Outlook or web-based email service like Office 365 and Gmail. To send a fax, simply compose a new email message, attach files if necessary, and address your message to number + @useitfax.com. The email will be received by the Use it Fax Service where it is converted to fax format and transmitted to the recipient(s). A fax delivery confirmation will then be emailed back to the sender’s email address.

Faxing via the Secure Web Client

Any Use it Fax Service user can log in to the service via the secure web client and send faxes. Once logged in, a user may compose a new fax message and add one or multiple recipients. When the fax message has been composed, the user can then submit it for transmission, preview before sending, or save a copy in the Drafts folder.

Faxing from MFPs/MFDs

Faxing hard copy documents is still necessary today. Most companies already have in place multi-function peripherals and devices that provide scan-to-email functionality. If you can scan to email, you can scan to fax with Use it Fax Service. Simply scan in your hard copy document(s), select the option for scan to email, and enter the number + @useitfax.com. The email will be received by the Use it Fax Service where it is converted to fax format and transmitted to the recipient(s). A fax delivery confirmation will then be emailed back to either the sender’s email address or the email address associated with the MFP/MFD.
