Imecom Group, Inc. announces the release of DM Fax Server version 8.10
Wolfeboro, NH (November 1, 2007) - Imecom Group, Inc., a leading provider of enterprise fax server and electronic document delivery solutions, today announced the release of DM Fax Server version 8.10. DM Fax Server version 8.10 includes some exciting new features, including support for Microsoft Exchange 2007, enhancements to the DM LDAP/Data Connector, and expanded support for IP telephony systems and fax over IP (FoIP) using Brooktrout TR1034 series digital intelligent fax boards and the new SR140 boardless virtual fax board software.
As companies continue to migrate from Exchange 2003/2000 to Exchange 2007, electronic fax must also migrate alongside email. Therefore, Imecom has developed a new Microsoft Exchange 2007 Fax Connector. This connector enables customers to integrate the robust faxing features of DM Fax Server into their Exchange 2007 environments. End users can send, receive, and manage electronic faxes using Microsoft outlook and Outlook Web Access.
Other new enhancement included with DM Fax Server version 8.10 is the DM LDAP/Data Connector. This connector makes it possible for DM Fax Server to query LDAP directories, such as Microsoft Active Directory, Novell NDS/eDirectory, and Lotus Domino Directory, to leverage stored information. The DM LDAP/Data Connector provides simplified fax cover page assignment and management, as well as automatic cover page field population.
