The Alcatel V/UMS (Voice Mail/Unified Messaging System) Solutions allow users to centrally manage all types of messages, including voice, fax, email, video, text messages, SMS, and more. Users will have access to all messages, regardless of their type, content, and origin - email (Microsoft Exchange/Outlook, Lotus Notes/Domino), telephone, GSM, PDA, PC, Intranet/Internet terminals, etc. Fax, voice, and email messages are sent in the same way, i.e. Microsoft Exchange and Outlook. Email messages can be transmitted via fax or read anywhere using a mobile phone. Inbound faxes can be received and viewed on your PC. Additional features of the Alcatel OmniPCX system include directory integrations, call transfer, call forwarding, conference calls, and more.
